You're finally ready for your own domain!
Now it's time to gather your information to create your AWH Web
Pages. When the ingredients are supplied ready to go, we can have your pages
ready much easier. Please allow for 3-4 weeks to complete your AWH Web Site. You are always welcome to watch our progress as
we upload your pages to the server. Call us for your new Web Page Address. (URL) Here are
some guidelines to help make sure you've included everything we need.Descriptive Text
- Please provide us with a Windows format, or email
copy of the text for your each of your AWH Web Pages.
- Please send us just what you to want to say for
each page; remember to stay within the eight and one-half inch standard page length. We
want to keep your pages fast.
- If you need AWH
to help you write your ad copy, we're happy to help you create more
user-friendly content, and we charge a reasonable hourly fee for
this service.
Good, Color Graphics and Photos
- Please send us digital copies of the photos
(if at all possible) that you want placed on your AWH Web Page.
You may choose to send your graphics to us via email, or on disc. US Priority Mail is a great
value and has reliable delivery.
- Please label each photo; post-it notes work best!
Do not use pen on the backs of your good photos, this tends to bleed during mailing!
- Custom backgrounds, buttons, and other graphics
are created for the in-house use of each AWH Client.
Stock graphics from "free graphic" sources are not used. All graphics and
digitally re-worked photos remain the exclusive property of AWhitehorse Grafix Co. and are not to be used on other sites, or lent to others. This
would constitute a violation of copyright.
- AWH Custom Web Site Packages include an average of 2 photos,
plus approved graphics on each page. There may be an additional charge
for heavy graphic pages. Total graphic size is important; each page
must meet speed and size guidelines. Pages of heavier size (more bytes)
download more slowly for your visitors, and they might leave your
pages; so we strive to make the fastest loading pages possible.
