Half-Arabian horses must have one registered purebred Arabian parent, and are eligible for registration in the Arabian Horse Association's studbook, regardless of the parentage of the other parent. (AHA) Half-Arabs with Pinto coloration are also eligible for Pinto horse registration.
Horses of Thoroughbred (AJC) and purebred Arabian parentage may also be eligible for Anglo-Arabian registration in the separate registry also maintained by AHA.
Arabian and Saddlebred cross horses have their own registry, The National Show Horse Registry, that maintains a Saddlebred and Arabian cross studbook. The Morab Registry keeps the Morgan-Arabian cross studbook records.
